The costs and benefits per function realised for the year under review
(policy area) and income from municipal levies per
size class in millions of euros and in euros per inhabitant. Here are
the municipalities are divided into size classes according to their population.
The figures presented contain only administrative data
these are in line with the definitions and classifications that the municipalities themselves
use in their administration. The main functions of the municipalities are:

— Public order and security
— Traffic, transport and water management
— Economic affairs
— Education
— Culture and recreation
— Social services and social services
— Public health and the environment
— Spatial planning and public housing
— Financing and general cover resources
