Description
The leachate rate indicates how much water infiltrates and infiltrates the soil every year. It is significantly influenced by precipitation. The efficiency of the use of geothermal heat collectors is strongly influenced by soil moisture. Water has a much higher thermal conductivity than air. Higher leachate rates can therefore have a positive effect on the energy efficiency of a geothermal heat collector. The data set provides a basis for large-scale considerations and does not replace the conduct of detailed investigations.
