Areas of biosphere reserves designated under state law
The basis for digitalisation was the relevant legislation (maps or border descriptions).
Digitalisation was carried out in the relevant AfBR (against the background of TK10) as an official interpretation of the biosphere reserve limit due to the BR Regulation.
In the LFG (until 2005) and LUNG (from 2006), the individual data sets from the AefBR were merged into a spatial data pool.
Since 2012, maps for legislative procedures of individual biosphere reserves have been created using previously created spatial data sets. These spatial data sets were then transferred to the nationwide spatial data pool of the biosphere reserves.
