2022 Basin Administrative Districts
Description
France has 12 basin constituencies or basin committees (7 in metropolitan France and 5 overseas).
The administrative territory of each basin is based on the municipal division, by ministerial decree.
The benchmark for the administrative districts of the basin is derived from the aggregation (performed by the Sandre) of the geometries of the municipalities belonging to the same district. The geometries of the municipalities are derived from the ADMIN EXPRESS COG 2022 edition database of IGN.
