3D-models of the Locker Rock in Lower Saxony — Varel-Nordenham (WMS Service)
Description
Based on data from the drilling database Lower Saxony, a hydrogeological 3D model between Weser and Jadebusen was created at the State Office for Mining, Energy and Geology (LBEG). In total, the model in 12 geological units depicts the subsurface up to the Pliocene base. The layer sequence includes old Pleistocene units, the deposits of the Elster, Saale and Vistula cold periods up to the most recent deposits of the Holocene, as well as deposits of the Eem warm-time.
