Groundwater sites with public measurements
Description
All groundwater locations that are included in the Subsurface Database Flanders and for which measurements are publicly available can be viewed via this map layer. The possible measurements are: groundwater sample level measurements + analyses Different types of groundwater sites have been defined: (wells and natural extractions). And also different filter types (pump filters, infiltration filters, reversible pump/infiltration filters, level filters, natural filters (sources and ponds) These locations are tracked for various purposes, including: - operators' extraction wells and monitoring wells, which are imported on the basis of the groundwater permit file - the wells of VMM's groundwater monitoring networks - the monitoring wells of INBO and other nature organisations
