Vegetation Index (NDVI) of Andalusia. Seasonal average, 1993-2007 (NOAA AVHRR).
Description
NDVI seasonal historical mean calculated from NOAA satellite images captured by the Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) sensor. The AVHRR sensor collects information in 5 spectral bands: visible, near-infrared and 3 in thermal infrared, all with a resolution of 1000 m. The seasonal historical mean of NDVI for 2007 is calculated from the historical monthly averages, grouping December 93-06, January and February 93-07 in winter; March, April and May 93-07 in spring; June, July and August 93-07 in summer; September, October and November 93-07 in autumn.
