Education expenditure per final diploma; nominal route 1998-2015
Description
This table gives an overview of the expenditure on training followed through the nominal route to a given final diploma. This is the highest degree obtained after attending regular education funded by the government. These include expenditure from governments, households, companies and non-profit institutions to educational institutions and the so-called device costs. Expenditure incurred by households outside educational institutions — such as books and educational resources — is not taken into account. In this table, only courses that have been followed within a continuous learning line to a final diploma count.The nominal route differs in time from the concept of ‘standard route’ because of the fact that slowing or accelerating factors (e.g. doubling or skipping class) have not been taken into account.
Data available from 1998 to 2015
Status of the figures: The results from 1998 to 2014 are final, the 2015 results are provisional.
