Educational institutions; finance 1998-2009
Description
The figures presented relate to data from the annual accounts of the
subsidised educational establishments in primary, secondary (continued)
education and secondary vocational education) and tertiary education (higher education)
vocational education and scientific education). The educational institutions
funded by the Ministry of Education, Culture and
Science (OCW) and by the Ministry of Economic Affairs, Agriculture
innovation (EL & I). Educational institutions are required by law
to submit annual accounts at the Ministry of Education before 1 July each year
serve.
The Education Annual Report Directive prescribes how
the annual accounts must be drawn up. This Directive shall apply to:
reporting year 2008 adjusted and now fully aligned with the legal
statutory Directive for Annual Reporting (Civil Code,
Book 2, Title 9). For educational institutions there is a separate chapter in the
Annual Reporting Directive incorporating the specific educational issues
included (RJ 660). This StatLine table has been adjusted accordingly.
Some items (specifications) from the old Directive are in the table
maintained, but no longer included in the financial statements for 2008 and
2009. In December 2011, the table is completely revised, with the old
posts are allocated to the new situation.
The Education Executive Service (DUO, formerly CFI), a benefit-burden service
the Ministry of Education processes the data from the annual accounts and
provide it to CBS in file form.
Data on primary education are only available from reporting year 2006
these institutions have been available since the introduction of the
lumpsum financing in that year with financial statements
be accountable to OCW.

Status of the figures:
The results from 1998 to 2008 are final.
The 2009 figures are provisional.
Amendments as of 11 February 2011:
The preliminary figures for 2009 are included.
The figures for 2008 are now final.
