Sunshine and Radiation Data (1981 – 2010)
Description
These sunshine and radiation data were calculated using the radiation model STRAHLGRID of the ZAMG. The model takes into account solar position, atmospheric turbidity and cloudiness calculated from station measurements of sunshine duration. Topographical shading and other terrain effects (area and multiple reflections) are accurate, but the close shading (e.g. through buildings or vegetation) is not taken into account.
