Biomass distribution of Benthosema glaciale from StrathSpace model
Description
The map of biomass estimate of Benthosema glaciale
was created using the output of the StrathSpace model. StrathSpace is a spatial population dynamic model which has been developped for mesopelagic fish species living in the North-East Atlantic (Benthosema glaciale and Maurolicus muelleri). The model is both life-stage and length structured. The life stages are eggs, larvae and adults. The map is a yearly average of the distribution of biomass, please note the distribution of biomass varies in time.
