No-parking zones for micromobility rental vehicles
Description
The data set contains the existing parking ban zones for rental vehicles of the micromobility of Berlin. With the amendment of the Berlin Roads Act, the special use permit requirement for the operation of rental vehicle fleets in public spaces was introduced on 1 September 2022.
Within the framework of this special use and the associated ancillary provisions, providers of micromobility services (e-scooters, (e-)wheels, cargo bikes and electric scooters) undertake to keep certain areas free, which are here parking or parking prohibited zones. The no-park zones consist of general green and recreational areas, playgrounds, cemetery areas and sensitive places reported by the districts.
