Higher education; first diploma, origin 1995/“96-2015/”16

This table shows the number of students with the first degree in higher education at the government-funded higher education institutions broken down by field of study, origin grouping and generation, academic year. As of the academic year 2013/'14, this table also contains the number of students who are qualified at a number of designated institutions: the theological universities and the University of Humanistics. In previous years of study, these students were included in a separate StatLine table.

Status of the figures:
The figures for the academic years up to 2014/‘15 are final and those for the academic year 2015/’16 are provisional. As this table has been discontinued, there are no final figures for the 2015/'16 academic year.
