This table contains figures on the prognosis of couples and single-parent households in the Netherlands by number of children living at home and age of the reference person. The figures refer to the situation as at 1 January.

None, this is a new table in which the previous forecast has been adjusted based on the observations now available. The forecast period now runs from 2019 to 2060.
When are new figures coming?
The frequency of appearance of this table is one-off. The new household forecast table will be published in December 2021.
