Higher education; first-year students, pre-education and training phase
Description
This table shows the number of first-year students at government-funded higher education institutions by type of education, pre-education, training phase and academic year. From academic year 2015/'16 onwards, this table also contains the number of first-year students at some designated institutions: the theological universities and the University of Humanistic Studies. From the academic year 2016/'17, the Transnational University Limburg has also been included.
Data available from: academic year 2011/'12.
Status of figures:
The figures for the academic years up to and including 2022/'23 are final and the figures for the academic year 2023/'24 are provisional.
Changes as of 29 March 2024:
The final figures for the academic year 2022/'23 have been added.
When will the new figures come?
In the first quarter of 2025, the provisional figures for the academic year 2024/'25 will be available.
