Location class map of the city of Freiburg i. Br.

Description

For the city of Freiburg im Breisgau, a location class map has been developed by the expert committee for real estate evaluation Freiburg, which has nine categories. This number results from the separation between the city without Tuniberg municipalities and Hochdorf (Soth) and the Tuniberg municipalities and Hochdorf (TH), which each comprise commercial areas as well as 4 and 3 location classes respectively. The nine classes do not correspond to or are not comparable to the residential areas of the co-price mirror. The location classes are not only based on the height of the soil benchmarks. They make a statement about the general quality of the situation in the city of Freiburg and within a district. The location class is both: a coarser form of aggregation that, on the one hand, summarises the same qualities across the district boundaries and, on the other hand, allows a more precise representation of the local conditions within the districts. The spatial data record contains the location class map as a supplement to the 2014 ground benchmarks. The areas in the map are assigned to the following 5 graded position classes: 0=commercial (grey); 1=simple position (yellow); 2=medium position (green); 3=good location (light blue); 4=very good location (dark blue).
