Network analysis 2018 - Inventory of bottlenecks

Description

The province has a legal task and role in terms of accessibility. In addition, accessibility is not a stand-alone goal, but promotes the economic development and liveability of South Holland. Proper access to living and working areas is essential, so accessibility is a prerequisite for spatial plans. The province of Zuid-Holland wants to have and give a good insight into the various infrastructure networks such as roads, bicycle networks, public transport and waterways and where they (can) strengthen each other (opportunities) and hinder (bottlenecks). Spatial-economic developments, quality of life, environmental quality in relation to traffic flow, travel time and road safety are important factors in this respect.
