Job vacancies created; level of education
Description
This table contains figures on the number of job vacancies at companies and institutions in the Healthcare and Welfare sector. The details of the job vacancies are detailed to:
— AZW main branch;
— level of education requested;
year and quarter.
This table has been developed within the framework of the research programme Labour Market, Care and Welfare (AZW). For more trends and developments in the labour market in care and well-being, see azwstatline.cbs.nl (see also section 3).
Data available from: first quarter of 2018.
Status of the figures:
The figures in this table are provisional.
Cells with fewer than 1,000 observations have been suppressed. Cells with figures that are not robust enough for correct classification, for variation in online perception or for variation due to the choice of weight of indirect vacancies have been suppressed. This repression is maintained unchanged after the first publication has been established for a longer period of time.
Vacancies from the Healthcare and Welfare sector are well observed online, the weighting factors of the vacancies are relatively low. This means that in this sector, occasional errors of individual vacancies do not work towards large numbers. The quality of the classification of job vacancies by educational level has been analysed and published for the largest sector in the sector: nursing, care and home care. This is published in section 2.4 of the Policy-relevant information report based on online job data (see section “Relevant articles”). The first results are encouraging. A more extensive quality check on this layout will be carried out shortly.
The figures are based on the most recent (re)delivery of the quarterly figures of the source data, with data improving from 2018 onwards. These may therefore differ from the figures in the Job Listing table; SBI 2008; by economic activity and company size (see ‘Relevant tables’), which is updated annually.
Amendments as of 8 December 2023:
The table is supplemented by figures for the 3 rd quarter 2023.
Changes as of 10 March 2023:
The table is supplemented by figures for the fourth quarter of 2022 and the year 2022 has been added.
Due to a correction on the link of vacancies to institutions, the figures for the first three quarters of 2022 for the UMCs and Hospitals and other med. spec. care sectors have been adjusted.
