Large-scale flooding - Water depth on roads (2022)
Description
The map of flood-affected road sections was created by combining the road maps with the water depth map of the 200 mm in 48 hours precipitation event. The objects identified as affected here have not yet been validated in the field or discussed with administrators. The water depth map is based on the height model ahn3 from 2017. Recent modifications to roads or watercourses that have not yet been included in the ahn3 are also not included here. For the main roads, it is assumed that the pumps of tunnels and low-lying road sections will continue to function. For provincial and local roads, the presence of pumps is not considered. The map serves as a starting point for the analysis of road nuisance.
