In order to obtain the seasonal anomalies in the behavior of k490 (Water Transparency) (m-1) in the marine environment, corresponding to the last year of study, with respect to its seasonal average behavior throughout the historical series 2000-2015. With these images, the increase or decrease of this parameter can be observed, which indicates how the light inside the water column is attenuated, helping to characterize the transparency of the water and therefore estimate the state of turbidity of the waters of the marine environment. In addition, this parameter has many applications in ocean optics, such as its relationship with the concentration of phytoplankton and dissolved organic and inorganic sediments in seawater.
