Prognosis of live births, fertility rates; mother’s age 2017-2059
Description
This table presents forecast figures on the number of live born children by mother’s age (at 31 December) and the age-specific fertility rate of women, both by female ranking. The figures refer to the population of the Netherlands.

The figures in this table are calculated forecast figures.
Amendments as of 16 December 2020:
This table has been discontinued.

Changes as of 17 January 2018:
For the calculation of the number of live born children, the number of women of childbearing ages from wrong years has been used. The figures for live-born children have therefore been corrected. Fertility rates were correct.
Amendments as of 19 December 2017:
None, this is a new table in which the previous forecast has been adjusted on the basis of the observations now available. The forecast period now runs from 2017 to 2060.
When will there be new figures?
The frequency of appearance of this table is one-off. A new table with the forecast of the number of live born children will be published in December 2020.
