Early school leavers; gender, type of education and origin
Description
This table provides data on the annual increase of early school leavers from secondary education, vocational secondary education and general secondary adult education by gender, country of origin and type of education.
CBS is moving to a new classification of the population by origin. From now on, it is more decisive where someone was born, in addition to where someone's parents were born. The word "migration background" is no longer used. The main classification Western/non-Western is replaced by a classification based on continents and common immigration countries. This classification is gradually introduced in tables and publications with population by origin.
Data available from: 2012/'13.
Status of figures:
Figures for the most recent period are provisional. These figures become final when the next period is published.
Changes as of 17 May 2024:
The final figures for the school year 2021/'22 and the provisional figures for the school year 2022/'23 have been added.
When will there be new figures?
The final figures for the 2022/'23 school year and the provisional figures for the 2023/'24 school year will become available in the second quarter of 2025.
