Income and economic independence; personal characteristics
Description
This table contains data on the personal income and economic independence of men and women in the Netherlands, broken down by; position in the household, age of the person, age of the youngest child living at home, level of education, and origin.
The target population includes all persons aged 15 to the AOW age, living in private households with known income, excluding students and pupils, as of 1 January of the year under review.
Data available from: 2011.
Status of the figures:
The figures for 2011 to 2021 are final. The figures for 2022 are provisional.
Amendments as of 8 November 2023:
The figures for 2021 are final and provisional figures for 2022 have been added.
The figures by level of education for 2019 have changed. This is the result of an error in the processing.
Since 2013, a revision of the level of education has been implemented in the figures. More information on the revision can be found in section 4.
When will there be new figures?
An update will follow in the course of 2024.
