Prognosis of live births; migration background mother 2017-2059

Description

This table contains forecasts of the number of live born children and the average number of children per woman among the population of the Netherlands according to the mother’s migration background. Data available: 2017-2059 Status of the figures: The figures in this table are forecast figures calculated. Changes as of 16 December 2020: This table has been discontinued. See paragraph 3 for the successor to this table. Changes as of 17 January 2018: For the calculation of the number of children born alive, the number of women of childbearing ages from wrong years has been used. The numbers of living born children have therefore been corrected. The figures on the average child number for the 1st generation migration background, Ned. background/2nd gene migration background, Western migration background and Non-Western migration background have also been corrected. The figures on the average number of children for the other selections of migration background were correct. Changes as of 19 December 2017: None, this is a new table in which the previous forecast has been adjusted based on the observations now available. The forecast period now runs from 2017 to 2060. When are new figures coming? The frequency of appearance of this table is one-off. In December 2020, a new table showing the prognosis of the number of live born children will be published.
