LAPRO2009 — Development of floodplain forests, break forests and water-accompanying alder, ash forests
Description
In the landscape program, rooms for the development of floodplain forests and/or water-accompanying alder/ash forests are represented by a symbol. The selection of the spaces takes place at the potential locations of these forest societies, taking into account the current nature of the existing habitats with their plant and animal species and possible conflicts with existing uses. These areas must be examined in more detail in concrete forest development projects and have to be concreteised in terms of area. see Saarland Landscape Programme, chapters 9.9 and 6.5.4.
