Natural monuments Kreis Viersen
Description
Natural monuments are special individual creations of nature (e.g. old trees, boulders), which are placed under special protection because of their rarity, peculiarity and beauty or for scientific, natural or earth history reasons. The services include the natural monuments in the outdoor area (protection designation by the landscape plans) and planned indoor area of the district Viersen (protection designation via an administrative ordinance). For objects defined via landscape planning, the natural monument number begins with the designation of the corresponding landscape plan, e.g. 'LPA', while objects of the regulatory ordinance begin with 'I'.
The services will be updated upon new designation of natural monuments.
