Visual sphere of influence weeded and weed villages monitoring landscape
Description
This file contains the visual spheres of influence of weeds and weed villages, located within the province of Groningen, which are used for the monitoring landscape. Every four years, all visual spheres of influence are monitored based on aerial photo comparison.The province of Groningen considers it important that the visibility and recognisability of weeds and weed villages is preserved. The quality of this characteristic can be affected by cultivation and planting on and in the vicinity of these weeds. Therefore, zones are designated around weeds and weed villages in which municipalities are asked to take into account in their zoning plans the sight of and the recognizability of weeds and weed villages. Rules for this are laid down in the Provincial Regulation 2016.
