Food retail establishments
Description
The dataset shall contain information on registered establishments authorised to retail food and food supplements to the final consumer.
Legend of the abbreviations and symbols used
MLP — milk and milk products
BPR — fish, fishery products and other seafood
MP — Meat and meat products
Jap — eggs and egg products
Mm — oils and fats
ZH — cereals and cereal-based foods
KK — potatoes and roots
C — pulses
H — vegetables — raw, cooked, preserved, frozen, dried, fermented, vegetable juices
Pl — fruits — fresh, frozen, dried, preserved, in the form of nectars and fruit juices, jams, marmalades, jellies and compotes
Yams — nuts and oilseeds
Zhi — sugar, confectionery and chocolate products, honey
P — spices — fresh and dried
BNV — soft drinks and bottled natural mineral, spring and table waters
Anne — beer
N — coffee, tea, cocoa
RCD — other foods
MK — meat and meat-plant cans
RTEs — ready-to-eat foods in preserved, frozen, concentrated or dried form
HSP — foods for special purpose which, by reason of their specific composition or method of production, are clearly distinguished from other foodstuffs for consumption
Food retail establishments which have been issued with a certificate of registration in accordance with Article 12a of the Foodstuffs Act shall be marked in box No 6 with the symbol ‘*’.
