Employment rate; change in employment status of non-working population
Description
This table contains figures on changes in the employment status of persons. These are persons aged 15 to 75 in the Netherlands, with the exception of persons in institutions, institutions and homes (institutional population). Central to this are changes from the non-working population to the employed and unemployed labour force. The employment position of persons at that time and the employment position a quarter earlier are given on a quarterly basis. The non-working population is divided into different categories.

None, this is a new table. This table is compiled on the basis of the Labour Force Survey (LFS). Due to changes in the research design and the questionnaire of the EBB, the figures from 2021 onwards are not necessarily comparable with the figures up to 2020. The figures in this table on the active labour force, unemployed labour force and non-working population have therefore been made consistent with the (non-seasonally adjusted) figures in the table Employment rate, key figures seasonally adjusted (see paragraph 4), in which the results for the period 2013-2020 have been recalculated to reflect the results from 2021 onwards. If the results are further detailed by job and personal characteristics, there may nevertheless be differences between 2020 and 2021 as a result of the new method.
