Description
This table contains quarterly and annual figures on the employment rate of young people in the Netherlands. The population aged 15 to 25 (excluding the institutional population) is divided into the employed, unemployed and non-working population. The active labour force is further classified on the basis of employment status and average working hours. For the different classifications, a breakdown by gender, age and whether or not they are in education is available.

None, this is a new table. This table is compiled on the basis of the Labour Force Survey (LFS). Due to changes in the research design and the questionnaire of the EBB, the figures for 2021 are not necessarily comparable with the figures up to 2020. The key figures in this table have therefore been made consistent with the (non-seasonally adjusted) figures in the table Labour participation, key figures seasonally adjusted (see paragraph 4), in which the results for the period 2013-2020 have been recalculated to reflect the results from 2021 onwards. If the results are further detailed by job and personal characteristics, there may nevertheless be differences between 2020 and 2021 as a result of the new method.
