Heat Cold Storage (ATS) suitability 1st water-bearing package

Description

For a complete description of methodology see report "Future Perspective Soil Energy South Holland 2017" by Tauw and CE-Delft commissioned by the Province of South Holland. Available at www.zuid-holland.nl The map is based, among other things, on the soil structure from the REGIS and the heat/cold needs of the various functions (building types). For each function, assumptions were made in the research to come from an energy demand to a demand in m3 water/m2/yr. This question was translated into a minimum required thickness of the water-bearing package on the basis of the formulas of the research. The suitability and capacity of the substrate is, in line with the ATES tool, based on the thickness of the aquifer packages (D) and the permeability of this package (k), i.e. on the kD value (m2/day). The capacity is determined separately for the 1st aquifer package and for the combined 2nd and 3rd aquifer package.
