Earthquake Area (Environmental Regulation)
Description
This file contains the boundaries of the earthquake area as laid down in the Environmental Ordinance of the Province of Groningen. The Regulation lays down rules to prevent total or partial demolition of characteristic buildings in the earthquake area without prior careful weighting. That is why it has been designated for which area it is. The municipal reclassification requires an adaptation of the definition of earthquake area in the Environmental Regulation (Article 2.7). For this purpose map 11 has been added, this is a representation of the situation up to the municipal reclassifications as of 1-1-2019.
