Description
The presentation service presents information on geology in the Free State of Saxony. It presents the sequence of tertiary loose rocks in several sub-sequential horizon maps as well as the fixed rocks at the base of the Tertiary in scale 1: 50,000. Incomplete data on stratigraphy and/or petrography of individual surfaces are gradually completed. A uniform grey signature marks the incompletely attributed features. The map service is usable on a scale smaller than 1: 25,000 as well as in different attribute representations. The map work is one of 7 geological maps, which is provided for the territory of the Free State of Saxony in their own map services INSPIRE-compliant.
