REDIAM. WMS Levels of Affectation. Fire of La Granada de Rio Tinto, Zufre and El Castillo de las Guardas. Preliminary analysis

Description

Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network. Regional Government of Andalusia. WMS service corresponding to the Preliminary Fire Severity, obtained from the difference of the NBR index (Normalized Burn Ratio) of the Sentinel 2A images of July 31 and September 19, 2017, at 10 m resolution, in the field of the fire of La Granada de Rio Tinto, Zufre and El Castillo de las Guardas. Sentinel 2 satellites are part of the European Union's Copernicus programme and have a resolution of 10, 20, 60 m and 13 spectral bands. The difference of NBR is calculated with the images Sentinel pre-fire (31/07/2017) and post-fire (19/09/2017), dates close to each other, minimizing in this way the changes in the phenology of the vegetation that could affect this index. The levels of affectation will be calibrated through the use of data collected in a field sample, obtaining the final Severity. Node of the Andalusian Environmental Information Network.
