Description
Distribution of Andalusian dehesa formations obtained from SIPNA (Information System on the Natural Heritage of Andalusia), based on the most up-to-date information available. Partially revised by photointerpretation, using the year 2020 as a reference orthophoto. The adehesada formations are photointerpreted according to the criteria established in Law 7/2010, of July 14, for the Dehesa.
Whereas dehesa-forming species are quercíneas, acebuches, chestnut trees, ash trees and carob trees, which must have an occupancy rate of more than 5% and less than 75%, the maximum shrubland is 50% and the herbaceous cover must be at least 20%.
