Description
For the benefit of the managers of the Municipal and Province Fund, CBS provides a large number of data that serve as a basis for determining the amount of benefits to the Dutch municipalities and provinces.
In this publication, these CBS data were brought together.
Data for the Municipal Fund are the basis for the provisional and definitive calculation of the measures referred to in the ‘Explanatory note on the calculations of benefits from the 1997 et seq.’, Ministry of Finance’s expenditure.
The number of inhabitants in urban and rural areas is calculated for the purposes of the distribution system used by the Provincial Fund. This distribution system entered into force on 1 January 1998 (Official Gazette, 1997, 526).
