Description
The Warmtenet Alert Card identifies the postcode areas (postcode-6) that are equipped with a heat network according to the "Gas Area Classification Code". A heat network is a set of connected pipes and installations that transports heat. It consists of a warm and less warm tube with water about half a meter thick, coupled to a collective heat source. Examples of heat sources are: combined heat and power (CHP), municipal waste plants, waste heat from industry and geothermal energy.
