Areas in the Netherlands 2005
Description
The publication Gebieden in the Netherlands 2005 establishes a relationship between
the municipal classification (lowest administrative level) on 1 January 2005 and
various subdivisions of the Dutch territory on
upper-municipal level.
For the sake of convenience, these subheadings are used in addition to area classifications
also taken into account the divisions of municipalities by size (inhabitant number) and
urbanity. The format by size is based on the (provisional)
number of inhabitants per municipality.
