Orthophotomosaic Meuse 2008
Description
true colour orthophoto for ecotope mapping. The recordings were made on 10 and 20 October 2008. With the delivery of Ecotopenkaart, Vegetation mapping and / or Geomorphological maps, more and more orthophoto mosaics are included as standard. Orthophotomosaics are images, composed of individual geometrically corrected aerial photographs, referred to as orthophotos. These aerial photographs have been used as a basis for the collection of data from these products. An orthophoto is an aerial photograph, corrected for the position of the aircraft during the shot and differences in altitude in the terrain. To correct these height differences, a height model is needed. The Actueel Hoogtebestand Nederland (AHN) is used as standard for the manufacture of orthophotomosaics. Resolution is 25 cm. In the case of the Meuse, the aerial photographs used for the collection of the Ecotopenkaart of the Meuse were used. The GSD of these photos is 0.12m. Mosaics are also available from parts of Ameland, the Scheldt and the Kwelders. The formats supplied are ECW .
