Potential geothermal Total (COP 15, Tretour 35) contour

Description

Commissioned by the province of Zuid-Holland, the study "Potential geothermal energy in Zuid-Holland" was carried out by IF-Technology, 2 December 2016. This map shows the potential of the Rhineland Grope, the Schieland Group and the Germanic Triassic Group. The potential for geothermal energy is shown in the power (MWt) and the energy quantity (PJ) that can be produced at a location with a single conventional doublet at a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 15 and a return temperature of 35°C. Geothermal energy is also known as geothermal energy.
