Potential geothermal energy Rijnland Group (COP 10, Tretour 25) contour

Description

Commissioned by the province of Zuid-Holland, the study "Potential geothermal energy in Zuid-Holland" was carried out by IF-Technology, 2 December 2016. This map shows the potential of the Rijnland Group. The depth of this formation increases in a southwesterly direction from 500 m in the northeast to about 2,000 m in the southwest. The potential for geothermal energy (GT) is shown in the power (MWt) and the energy quantity (PJ) that can be produced at a location with a single conventional doublet at a Coefficient of Performance (COP) of 10 and a return temperature of 25°C. Geothermal energy is also known as geothermal energy.
