Description
This table provides key figures on environmental investments by companies (with 20 or more employees) in the sectors of mineral extraction, industry, energy supply and water extraction. The table also shows the net environmental costs. These reflect the financial burden of business as a result of environmental care.
Data available from 1985 to 2012
‘Key figures for environmental costs of companies’ are available for 1985 and (yearly) from 1990 to 2012*.
Status of the figures:
Final figures are available for the years up to 2011. The 2012 data is provisional. As this table has been discontinued, the data will no longer be definitive.
