Description
According to ยง 24 of the Federal Nature Conservation Act, national parks are areas to be protected in a legally binding manner, which are 1. large-scale, largely uncut and of particular character, (2) fulfil the requirements of a nature reserve in a large part of their territory and (3) are in a state not or little influenced by humans in a state that is not or little influenced by humans or are capable of developing into a state or to be developed into a state that ensures the most undisturbed course of natural processes in their natural dynamics. The aim of national parks is to ensure, in the vast majority of their territory, the most undisturbed course of natural processes in their natural dynamics. As far as the purpose of protection permits, national parks should also serve scientific environmental observation, natural history education and the natural experience of the population. Please note the following information on the completeness and quality of the data provided: due to inaccuracies in the acquisition of technical objects, there are occasional non-valid geometries according to OGC Schema validation. Since GIS servers such as ArcGIS server, GeoServer or UMN MapServer have to use/process ever more accurate data bases, the inspection routine is always further developed and warns in the tolerance range as well as in the topological recording of inaccuracies (e.g. by third-party software). This means that geometries can no longer be displayed or recorded. The objected geometry errors include self-intersections (self-intersections) or double bases. Therefore, the LUBW cannot guarantee the completeness and stability of the Download Service (WFS). If necessary, please check the completeness on the basis of the presentation services also offered (WMS).
