Soil-related main natural spaces in Schleswig-Holstein
Description
The map includes the delimitation of the four main natural areas of the country on the basis of geologic criteria. The age of the near-surface deposits and the relief form the basis for this. The map has been developed from geological and soil survey maps and from data on the relief. It forms the basis for the regionalisation of the soil assessment maps of the Geological Service of Schleswig-Holstein (LFU-SH).
