Road traffic emission factors; by vehicle category and year of manufacture, 2007
Description
This table contains emission factors for the exhaust gases of road vehicles
by year of construction, applicable to the 2007 statistical year. This
factors giving emissions of exhaust gases per vehicle-kilometre,
have been applied in the calculation of emissions from road traffic (see
paragraph 3).
These are emission factors of the substances CO, VOCs (only by
combustion), NOx and PM10 for the road types of built-up areas, outlying roads and
motorways.
The following vehicle categories are distinguished:
Total, passenger car-petrol, passenger car-diesel, passenger car LPG,
motorcycle two-wheeler, van-gasoline, van-diesel, van-LPG,
truck-diesel, tractor-diesel and bus-diesel.
Years of construction:
Vehicles from 0 to 8 years old (construction years 1999 to 2007)
and of the construction year group 9 years and older (construction years 1998 and older).
Years: 2007.
Data available for 2007.
Status of the figures:
Final figures (= t-2, in which t=year of publication).
Changes compared to the previous version:
N.A. This is a new table showing the latest state of play;
in this case, relating to the calendar year 2007.
When will there be new figures?
In principle, every spring a new table is made which
application to the most recent published statistical year:
final figures.
The previous version is then moved to the Statline archive.
