Supply of waste; recycling companies (SBI'93), waste category; 2004, 2006
Description
Waste that is suitable for reuse is often offered to companies
who, as a main activity, are involved in the preparatory
work for recycling by third parties. These holdings are classified
in the business class Preparing for recycling of the Standard
Business Classification (SBI).
This table provides information on the amount of waste being
offered to the companies in the business class Preparation to
recycling. The table also shows that part of the landing, which is in a
finished product has been processed and the part that remains as residue.
Furthermore, the residual material becomes the method of processing and processing
displayed.
In May 2002 the European Waste Regulation was adopted in which the European Union
waste list (EURAL) is listed, in force
become. With this comes the Dutch Waste Code List
to expire. The EURAL was used for the first time in 2004.
Figures on the waste offered to the recycling companies are for
first presented by waste category in 2004. In doing so, the
Euralcode a classification of the substance types other than
at the time, the Dutch waste list. Comparison by category of waste
this is not possible with previous years.
For this reason, this table only shows figures from 2004 onwards. For a
reference to tables of figures for the years 2004: see
paragraph 3.
