Fixed capital formation by type; national accounts 1995-2015
Description
This table gives an overview of gross fixed capital formation (according to the property criterion) by type of assets in the different regions.
The figures come from the regional accounts, the quantitative description of the economic process of the different regions within a country. Regional investment figures are in line with the totals from the national accounts. It concerns fixed capital formation from production and imports, i.e. excluding the sale of used fixed assets. By aligning the figures with the national accounts, they provide a coordinated description of the regional economy and are ideally suited for the comparison of the results of the various regions, which only contains figures in current prices.
Data available from 1995 to 2015.
Status of the figures?
The figures for the years 1995 to 2015 are final. This table has been discontinued and is no longer supplemented by new figures.

The Central Bureau of Statistics has recently carried out a revision of the national accounts. New statistical sources and estimation methods are used. This table with data for revision has been replaced by table Investments in fixed assets by type and region; national accounts. For additional information see paragraph 3.
