Description
Nitrate vulnerability is assessed for the abstraction aquifer or primary aquifers, and is primarily based on accumulated reduced clay thickness and water type. Nitrate vulnerability is a necessary input for the delimitation of the NFI and IO, and is carried out in accordance with “Nitrate vulnerability and delimitation of the NFI and IO”. Data have been collected since the start of the groundwater mapping in 2000 and will be continuously updated.
