In ETRS89 UTM spindle 30. With the purpose of obtaining a monitoring of the quality of the embalmed water in order to have a rapid response to pollution states that allows a response to the needs of management of embalmed water. In this sense, the average behavior of chlorophyll-a (mg/cm3) is obtained from the main reservoirs in the region (72 reservoirs are studied), through the calculation of a standardized index, elaborated with band 5 (560 nm) and band 2 (442 nm) of the MERIS sensor. This parameter allows the estimation of the concentration of phytoplankton and indirectly of biological activity, in addition to being used as an instrument for monitoring eutrophication processes in the monitoring of the quality of the reservoird waters.
