Environmental accounts; emissions to water, origin and destination 1995-2010
Description
This table provides information on the origin and destination of emissions to water of fertilising substances (nutrients) and heavy metals. These data are part of the environmental accounts. The origin of emissions by water can be subdivided into Dutch economy (disaggregated by private households and industries) and abroad. The destination can be divided into absorption by producers, disposal abroad and contribution to the environmental problem. The figures in this table can be compared in a consistent manner with macroeconomic indicators. In addition, indicators for emissions from heavy metals to water and the fertilisation of surface water can be derived from the water emission accounts. These indicators can be used to support water policy.

The figures for the last year have provisional status. The figures for the other years are final. As this table has been discontinued, these figures are no longer finalised.
